The management and staff of the new restaurant circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 donation to Henry P. Becton Regional High School.
“We have been eyeing East Rutherford for quite some time now and know what a great community it is,” said John Helm, franchise co-owner.
“We’re offering a different kind of lunch and dinner option,” said Ben Centrella, regional manager.
The restaurant opened in the same location as a Subway. It took only three months to complete the build-out. Its walls feature a ‘Greetings from Point Pleasant’ mural and surfboard as reminders of the company’s origins in the Jersey shore town.
In 2015, for the second year in a row, the company was named the #1 fastest growing chain in the Nation’s Restaurant News Top 100, and continues to win best sub awards in virtually every market it enters.
Jersey Mike's Sub is at 50 Route 17 North, East Rutherford.
